Position Overview:
Avivo is building an AI-powered platform that helps legal teams instantly find answers and insights from contracts. We are looking for a hands-on Business Development Executive to build our top-of-funnel from scratch, primarily targeting contract-focused legal teams and law firms.
This is an early-stage role requiring curiosity, structured outreach, and comfort with ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research target accounts and personas in:
- Law firms handling commercial contracts
- In-house legal teams managing contracts
- Execute outbound campaigns via:
- LinkedIn
- Cold email
- Personalize outreach based on ICP and role-specific pain points
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads before handoff
- Schedule discovery calls and demos for founders
- Maintain CRM hygiene and lead tracking
- Capture and share market feedback, objections, and insights
- Continuously refine messaging based on responses
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- 10–15 qualified discovery calls/month
- Clear understanding of ICP objections and triggers
- Repeatable outbound messaging that gets replies
- Clean, structured lead pipeline
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4-5 years’ experience in B2B outbound BD / SDR role
- Prior experience selling to:
- US market (preferred)
- SaaS / B2B services
- Strong written communication (email + LinkedIn)
- Comfortable with cold outreach
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo
- Familiarity with CRM tools
- Ability to work closely with founders and adapt quickly
Nice to Have:
- Experience selling to legal, compliance, or procurement teams
- Understanding of contracts / legal workflows
- Experience in early-stage startups
