Position Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled QA Lead to join our team at Avivo. In this QA Lead role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by leading the overall testing strategy, execution, and team coordination. This role involves managing both manual and automation testing efforts, defining quality standards, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure defects are identified and resolved efficiently. The QA Lead will guide and mentor the QA team, drive process improvements, and ensure that all releases meet the organization’s quality expectations and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and guide the QA team (manual and automation testers).
  • Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct reviews of test cases, test scripts, and test results.
  • Oversee execution of manual and automated tests.
  • Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to resolve issues.
• Code Quality: Contribute to maintaining high code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices
  and coding standards.
• Manual Testing: Assist in the execution of manual test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and verifying fixes.
• Automated Testing: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using industry-standard
  tools and frameworks.
• Test Planning: Collaborate with the QA team to create detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements
  and specifications.
• Bug Reporting: Report and track defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring clear and detailed documentation for developers.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure thorough testing and
  validation of software features.
• Learning and Growth: Engage in continuous learning and skill development, keeping up with industry trends and emerging
  testing technologies.
• Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive testing documentation, including test plans,
  test cases, and test scripts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• 8+ years of experience in software testing, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Proficiency in manual testing and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Familiarity with project management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Experience in automated testing and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).
• Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in security and performance testing (OWASP ZAP, JMeter, LoadRunner, Load View).
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
• Interest in AI-driven tools and contract management solutions.
